World Pulse

World Pulse is a global social network connecting women worldwide for change.

“We want to be the bridges — to outstretch our hands and help more women have safe passage to the online world. We have our hands on the keyboard and our feet on the ground.” — Busayo, Nigeria, World Pulse Digital Ambassador

World Pulse unveiled its new training suite designed to deliver digital changemaking skills to women and girls around the world in a global online event on 10 March 2022.

This new online training suite is designed for greater digital inclusion and growing the leadership of women and girls, as well as providing new tools and techniques to bridge the digital gender divide in local communities.

For over 10 years, World Pulse has researched how to help women and girls benefit from digital tools and to facilitate more women and historically excluded communities coming online to become digitally empowered. And in co-creation with global grassroots leaders and activists, World Pulse has applied that research and evaluation into a digital empowerment training suite covering four core modules:

World Pulse’s 150 digital ambassadors across 30 countries will use this curriculum to train women and girls in their communities — unleashing a tidal wave of new voices online. Additionally, select digital ambassadors will go through a rigorous certification process to become World Pulse Certified Trainers who will work with global partners to deliver the training to new audiences globally.

The expansion of World Pulse’s grassroots training program is part of the Her Digital Leadership Alliance, a collaboration between civil society, government, and business to strengthen women’s digital skills and changemaking globally. Through increased digital skills, more community leaders are leading local efforts to bridge the gender digital divide and bring previously marginalized voices online to participate in the decisions that affect their lives.

World Pulse welcomes expressions of interest to participate in the Her Digital Leadership Alliance or to host a training for your constituents. Click here to contact us.
