Across the globe, women and allies are logging on and rising up from the digital grassroots, unfurling change on their own terms.

As we face continued global pain and unprecedented challenges, World Pulse’s global community members have dug deep to share their visions, stories, support, and resources. They are part of the rising global ecosystem of World Pulse, planting visionary seeds and nurturing new growth that is already transforming lives and communities.

At the end of 2021, we collected the stories and reported World Pulse's impacts on our community in an annual survey. 491 participants from 71 countries responded, sharing with us how they have used World Pulse to root, grow, and share their vision for change.

Despite losing a generation of progress toward gender equity in 2021 alone, our community reported back meaningful results:

• 79.8% of respondents reported that their actions as a result of World Pulse made an impact.
• 60.4% of members say World Pulse led to new connections.
• 80.7% of members report World Pulse increased their belief in their ability to take action for change.
• 63.3% of members reported World Pulse helped them increase credibility as a leader on an issue.

Women and allies logged on to create deep impact and connections across 227 countries and territories. This brings the World Pulse community’s cumulative global impact to 24.5 million people.

Whether they are speaking out for women’s bodily autonomy, leveraging digital skills to protect and uplift women in a changing climate, or growing leadership skills and networks to support women with disabilities, the World Pulse community is taking action to create a better future.
